Tailored study tour
If you want to customise a group study tour and take your pick from a range of activities, this is GETI Tasmania’s most flexible option:
Study tours are for groups of 12 students or more
We can host students from Years 5-12 (ages 10-18)
Tours held from February to November, term breaks permitting
Airport pick up and drop off included
Price includes homestay with Australian hosts
All homestays are screened and must pass a police check
Choice of education provider best suited to study tour needs
Full ESL program in addition to integrated classes with local students
Full range of excursions available to Tasmanian attractions
A two week tour starts from AU$1,400 per student. The final cost will depend on the tour duration and any extra activities chosen for the group. Please contact GETI for more details.
Open study tours
Only one or two students looking for an adventure? Twice a year, GETI Tasmania offers two open tours in Tasmanian High Schools, available to any student from any country, with no minimum numbers required. All students study together and experience one Tasmanian High School, studying with both Australian students and others from all over the world.
Up to 30 students from all over the world in each tour
We can host students from Years 7-10 (ages 13-16)
Tours held March-April and July-August, 2012
Airport pick up and drop off included
Price includes homestay with Australian hosts
All homestays are screened and must pass a police check
Set program of daily activities including Tasmania wildlife tours, museum and marine tours and more.
Full ESL program in addition to integrated classes with local students
